Our Story

One22’s mission is to invest in and support our neighbors who face health, financial, and cultural challenges.

One22 has three primary areas of focus. In all we do, we strive to reduce duplication of services and leverage all resources in the community. Our focus areas are:

1. Health & safety - Ensure access to health and safety services for all residents in need including Spanish speaking immigrants, and those who are isolated from social safety nets.

2. Economic & financial training - Provide emergency financial support in a context of education in order to help residents manage and plan for the likelihood of continued financial strain.

3. Education - Utilize One22’s understanding of the challenges to the working poor in order to inform the community’s leaders and residents to make sound decisions for their own well-being.

One22 was established in 2016 as the result of a merger of three long-time legacy organizations, each with more than a decade of service to the Teton area’s residents: The Community Resource Center, Latino Resource Center, and El Puente.

By joining the expertise and resources of three well-respected organizations, we are able to enhance the efficiency of our operations in order to help our clients in a more complete way.

Position Overview

One22 seeks an enthusiastic and experienced development leader to join One22’s dynamic and growing development program. This leader will be responsible for designing fundraising strategies and campaigns, overseeing implementation, and developing systems that enable One22’s Executive Director and Board to maximize effectiveness, particularly with individual giving processes and planning. While the person selected will report to the Executive Director and work in close collaboration with the Board, the successful candidate will have broad latitude and autonomy to lead the fund development program.  

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of the Strategic Fund Development Plan and design tactical action plans for a variety of fundraising strategies and campaigns, and facilitate execution of the action plans.

  • Design and implement fundraising campaigns and cultivation events in collaboration with One22’s Board and staff.

  • Design stewardship, renewal, and communication strategies for donors and prospects; leverage external-facing fundraisers and board members in the process.

  • Work closely with the One22 Board, staff, and clients to develop fundraising marketing materials and collateral, press releases and media kits, and maintain the website and social media accounts.

  • Ensure external-facing fundraisers (Executive Director and Board) are prepared and supported to cultivate, steward and upgrade board members, board prospects, large, and major donors.

  • Conduct prospect research across fundraising streams to identify potential new relationships and funding opportunities.

  • Analyze donor data to set ambitious, yet feasible short-term goals and benchmarks to monitor progress; regularly assess team-wide progress to goals, identifying what is driving and impeding progress, develop solutions to address gaps, and adjust course as necessary.

  • Ensure high standards for fundraising systems and procedures, including maintaining key donor data for later conversion to a CRM platform, donor and prospect pipelines, moves management, institutional giving calendars, event logistics, and tracking key performance indicators.

  • Support the Program Director in constructing and ongoing analysis of the development budget.

  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Prior Experience

  • Minimum four years of experience in non-profit development, which includes at least one year in a role that required written donor-facing communication.

  • Proven track record of success in securing funding.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of fundraising principles, techniques, and ethics.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Compensation and Location

The position is full-time. Salary for the position will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s prior experience. One22 prefers local candidates but is open to considering remote candidates.
